TuningLedger Field Guide
Flat Bench Subscription for Registered Piano Technicians
One flat plan, $19/mo. Unlimited pianos. Subscriptions bill monthly via Stripe. TuningLedger records tuning payments without charging piano owner cards.
What TuningLedger includes
- Unlimited active pianos: Zero database caps. Keep 2,000+ historical instruments across homes, universities, and churches without Gazelle-style tier escalations.
- Deterministic pitch-raise pricing: Offsets of ≥ ±15 cents automatically add a $45.00 surcharge and 30 minutes to service quotes.
- Seasonal drift & humidity intervals: 120-day recalls for concert grands, loose pinblocks, or extreme humidity (<30% or >65% RH); 150 days for studio uprights; 180 days for home consoles.
- 3-digit zip-code day clustering: Proposes recall slots on days when you already have service sessions in the same zip prefix to eliminate zigzag driving.
- Bench payment & diagnostic closeout: Log initial cents offset, target Hz, pinblock torque, and relative humidity with one-tap payment recording.
- Automated 24h reminders: Automated 6-month SMS & email tuning recall for upcoming tuning sessions.
Not in this version
- Audio strobe frequency analysis (tuners use dedicated Verituner or Accu-Tuner apps/hardware).
- Credit card processor terminal inside the tuning ledger (technicians record payments taken at the bench).
- Live SMS carrier fees (uses 1-tap RPT service ledger & pitch history with $0 added charges).
- A technician seat cap. The plan label is $19/mo for up to 5 technicians (unlimited pianos). Adding a technician is not blocked at five.
